What Hot Yoga Is All About

Hot yoga is a style of hatha yoga practiced in a heated room, usually between 95–105°F with moderate humidity. The warmth helps the body loosen up more quickly, allowing practitioners to move deeper into poses while promoting relaxation and focus.

In hot yoga, the heat creates a challenging environment that encourages mind–body awareness, mental discipline, and physical endurance. Classes often include a sequence of standing, balancing, and floor postures, combined with mindful breathing.
